Zürich-Zermatt-Montreux-Lausanne-Geneve-Zürich

crazy,isnt? All in one day!! We've (Fadhli and i) made our Tageskarte (Day tickets) worth the money we've paid!! Around 2 months ago I've bought this Day Ticket in Town-Hall (Rathaus Dietikon), which allow us to travel everywhere in Switzerland by train.There is only 10 tickets per day,so ape lagi....i just bought it without doing much thinking.. 36CHF !! you cant get any cheaper than that in Switzerland...trust me!! But this offer is only for the resident, even to the temporary resident like me :)

Our journey started from 0611-0046 on 15 August 2009..but from all the places that we'd visited, i like Zermatt the most!! seriously,rase mcm kat oversea..haha..In Zermatt, we took another cable car to Schwarzsee to see the Matterhorn in a close distance. The view was incredible..you cant see such scenery anywhere else other than in Zermatt :p Most of the tourist climb up to Matterhorn or kliene Matterhorn for some summer skiing,and thanks to the glacier up there, there're still a lot of snow up in the mountain..For the non skiing people like us, we preffered to enjoy the view from quite a distance .walhal sebenarnye kedekut xnak bayar naik smpai atas..mahal wooo,even we got 50% off, the price is still not worth it, i guess :p All the other places that we've visited (Montreux,Lausanne,Geneva) were also nice and amazing... just take a peep in my picasa web album..you'll know how lovely those places are!!!

Judith (my housemate) last weekend together!!! She will be moving out next tuesday..and i will be leaving too(next 2 weeks)..how sad.. 6 months is almost over..xsangke mase cepat sangat belalu.. i'm sure that i will miss my time in Switzerland.It was far more valueble than i expected..

Marianne (the owner of the house) had prepared us a nice traditional Switzerland dinner... cheese fondue!!! it was my first time to try such fondue..i'm not a cheese fan, so i didnt really like the fondue,thou..haha...pahit2 kelat2 je rasa cheese tuh.. but Marianne,Alice,Judith and even Martin thought it was încredible!! they ate every last bite of it..pelik2..

Judith and i bought Marianne&Alice one little pricey guestbook as a farewell gift which had made Marianne cried..After a LOT of chatting and discussing, my alarm goes off at 12am.Well, I usually set at 12 to remind me its already late.. but thanks to the alarm, they thought the alarm is for my praying time..hihi..so,i can make an excuse to end the night :) jahat jer..jgn la diorg terjumpe blog aku ini..hihi..

more n more work to do..mn x buhsannye... I have to check and transfer all the GIS Project from 2007 to 2009..a lot of excel tipps to be learn..haishh...malas betul laaa...

Fortunately there was sumthing interesting happened today...saye nampak pelangi petang tadi :) It really made my day :)

Last weekend was great than i expected it to be...well, i guess you know why..i was hopping to go with Ayue to iaeste Ticino Weekend but unfortunately there was a limited place even for those iaeste trainee itself.. I've tried my hardest to register our name at 1300 sharp but i was about 2 minutes late..can u imagine that our name were already in the waiting list..tsk..tsk..(i cant believe how fast those people are ;p)..but after a few hours, my name was climbing up to the participant list..but Ayue's was dropping down to the other list(as Ayue is not iaeste trainee).. i was devastated(hyperbole)... So, that was the reason why i've to go there alone :(

But then,thanks to iaeste, I've met a lots of nice people there....hihi.. i could say most of them were very nice and friendly..but of course there are a few that annoyed me..there is one person that i dont remember 'its' name..i was talking with another nice person whether she was doing her traineeship or internship here in Switzerland, then she was like interupting our conversation with 'its' annoying face and said like " of course traineeship,whatelse?"... Hellooooo!! first of all..i'm not talking to youu..and secondly dont you know the difference between traineeship and internship?!! Internship is while you are still studying..and traineeship is after your studies...didnt you get it? duhhh.... Actually, i'm not really mad with 'its' interruption..but i was annoyed with 'its' tone of voice...its like she mad of me and felt annoyed with my existence there(btw,it was 'its' friend asking me question first,thou).. whatever,you didnt ruin my day :p

Well,if you follow my blog earlier..you will know that every iaeste event wasnt just visiting some nice places and than go back with nice photos... it will always be some extreme sports or at least you will definitely sweating :p Ticino is a very nice place to visit and enjoying the beautiful nature scenery...We can saw the real view especially when we were biking from Airolo to Biasca. Alejandra and I managed to stop in the middle a few time to capture those wonderful scenery (*thats why were always late than the others,i guess..not to mention our slow speed :p*).... after 4 hours biking down those hills, its time for BBQ!!! i've brought my special fried rice and my own sausage ,of course..

FYI, 1 August is Switzerland National day..so,there was definitely a firework fest during the night :p So, i had a chance to celebrate this fest in Lugano,along the lake of Lugano to be exact. Those 10 minutes firework were amazing and loud ..hiks..Afterwards as expected..its party time!!! they were dancing and drinking on the streets(*of cource i'm not one of them..my dancing sucks*).. yeah2..i am only standing on the side watching those act..haha..but, it was totally funny,thou..Alejandra and i went home earlier than the others..we were totally worn out that day..we want to gain our energy for tomorrow (*as if we are going to do that bungee jumping..haha*)...

i'll not write bout the bungee jumping..i just dont feel like writting it...hiks (*maybe bcuz i dont have anything to tell as i'm not the one that doing that jump and i regret of not doing it*). All the activities on Sunday,other than 2 hours hiking to that bungee jumping place..was not involving me..i was just watching them jumping from one place to another..grrr...first,it was bungee jumping then it was jumping from the 13 m bridge into the river at Verzascatal...insane isnt it? thank God those places were beautiful ..boleh la amik2 pictures kan..

Anyway, it was a fun weekend..Maybe this is my last weekend joining the iaeste weekend as i have only 1 month and 1 week left..tsk..tsk..

missing you Ayueee!!! She went back to Yanie's ..and i'm missing her already...hihi.. She was here with me in Zürich for the last 4 days until yesterday...It was incredibly fun and ...fun.... ;)

On tuesday we were very excited on the idea to dine at one halal mixed asian food called Nobel House in Uster..the train ticket is a liltle bit higher that expected,but we still insisted to go ... makan punya pasal kan...After two hours sightseeing in the city of Rapperswill (*with a free tour guide : a guy from Lebanon*),we went to Noble House as stated in the google map (*cant live without one..hiks*). Unfortunately ,it wasnt there!!!! i was supprisingly devastated!!! it already been replaced by Restaurant Mona Lisa sumthing,whatever....cissss...Why didnt they update thier website,huh?dont trust bluntly http://www.zabihah.com/ again!! double check is a must..grrr....

Sadly we went straight back to Zürich hopping the Tunisian Restaurant is still open..but ..too bad,it wasnt , because of the renovation thingy..

It was already 2200, our last option was Bombay Karachi (*Halal Indain Restaurant *)..but the sign "CLOSED" was there as we stood in front of that restaurant.It was closed about 30 minutes ago... *#%&¬+ ...grrr.....What a "wonderful" day ;( Our stomach have already make their own band..so we cant just go home without dinner!!! bantai saja mana2 kedai...luckily those seafood pasta was tasty enuff to cover our hunger :)

On the next day, we went to Zürichhorn to experience our first time open air cinema in Zürich...The atmospere was totally undescribly beautiful.. Eventhough the movie(*BOLT*) was in German, we were absolutly enjoying ourselves not to forget with free Emmi ice cream :p

Camping Weekend (Part 2)

yeah..yeah..i know!!!! sgt semangat nk tulis sampai part 2 kan.....but i cant help it..

i've sooo much to tell but nobody to listen. pathetic,isn't? haha..no larrr, all those people that always listen to my story were literally apart of this trip,so there is no point for them to hear my story ,isnt it? if i've all the time in the world,i'll write a novel about this trip..ahaks.....melampau kot ;)

ok, where was i? hurm... Sunday 26.7.2009 was a lil bit adventureos for people like us (*short of breath after climbing 20 steps stairs kind of people :p admit it la kann*).... we decided to try summer activity in Lenzerheide.People call it Lenzibike. Lenzibike looks like a scooter with a giant tyres...We've to ride down the mountain on those Lenzibike. It wasnt easy as we thought it would be. The path that we've taken was also used by those mountain bikers...so imagine that!! (*but not that extreme lorh*)

After the Lenzibike ride,we speed up to Churwalden for our second time toboganning ride...addicted to speed la katakan....Almost all of our camping activities involved speed..ahaks...(*i think i've enuff courage to ride a roller coaster after this trip..haha*)..Then,we went back to our camping place to pick up our stuffs... We arrived at Zürich HB around 1730..Well, that's the excellent end of our wonderful trip for now..of course, Fadhli,Anwar,Hajar,Yanie have to ride 3 hours more(Ayue stays with me!!!)..but i bet they have such a great time :p

i miss them already....and i miss you more :) Cant wait for our next trip together!! next stop..Italy? hihi

Camping Weekend..wooottttt :) (Part 1)

I'd never thought that i will planning or even joining any camping trip,ever.But after a few months living in Switzerland, i'd discovered sooo many places to visit that worth the experience. As the cost for the accommodation is unbelievably high,so camping is the only option to save the cost.........

i've been planning for this event for the last 3 weeks .It was our first holiday together since we were abroad (*me::ayue::yanie::hajar*+ *Ahmad::Anwar*) thank GOD, that we'd managed to get a cheap train tickets from Zürich to Chur..it save us a fortune :) but until the day itself 25.7.09, we still didnt get any confirmation for the place to stay(*they only accept the reservation for min 4 night stay*). But we still want to go there....and i'm sooo greatful that we took our chances.. The owner of the camping place loves us soo much, and give us a place to camp :) no kidding,he likes Malaysia soo much,and promise us a free stay whenever we go there again..such a nice old man...

the main reason i choose to camp out in Churwalden was only to ride the longgest tobboganning run in the world(3000m long with 31 curve)... but after we've arrived in Churwalden, we found out there are more interesting things to do there other than the toboganning run(*of course the tobogan ride was more than superb*). On Saturday, after our first tobogan ride..we went to Heidsee,Lenzerheide with the thought to jump in that crystal clear lake..unfortunately, the weather was a lil bit dissapointing but still it worth the visit...with those mountain surrounded the Heidsee make us realize how great ,amazing and perfect of ALLAH swt 's creations. What goes up must come down and it was the same for our camping trip.i know that camping will not be as comfortable as sleeping in the hostel, but........it sucks !!!! After having a cup of hot chocs and admiring the stars,i thought that we could have a nice sleep in our own tent.But Ayu and i couldnt :( We've tried sooo hard to even close our eyes..but none of them were working ... it was extremely,extraordinarily,intensely cold, like winter in the middle of summer kind of feeling... that was the first night in my life that i hope the night should end and morning rise!!!

hurm..where did i stopped? err..ummph..grrr... okayh2..i'm not gonna wrote about the cycling part anymore....i just want to erase that memories of mine for the rest of this months until my body recover to its normal state :)

then..after the whole tiring day..we enjoyed our night life in Sion..There was a very "not so small and not so huge" Festival going on there..they called it Festival of Arts.. There were a lot of food's stalls and people of course... As we followed the road, we could see a lot of performance performed by people of Sion itself..There were magic show,hip hop show,small theater and even big mascot show..it was fun..but i just cant feel it as my body was slowly shutting down its system :( seriously...i've done enough sport for the whole year okayh?!!! what do you expect?

After a good night sleep..i was very excited to continue our trip to Sion Castle and Subteranean Lake ...but ..oOOh..O00h...when i give myself one second thought on how are we going up there on the castle and that so called Subteranean Lake.. my exciting feeling dissapeared without a mist...

We've to walk up the Hill to get to that Castle..Its about 0ne hour walk...but..i still can use my left over energy from yesterday...but then, what they called the true WALK begins... Where the hell is that Subteranean Lake?!! We were walking up the hills and we've to climb all the way up n went down again to reached the other side of the hills..it tooked us 3 more *u**ing hours to get there.. Fortunately the lake was very very very incredible..SubhanaALLAH is all i can say... All of my sweat was paid up :)

the whole day was fun but i didnt talked as much as i'm used too bcoz i'm not a very friendly kind of person when it comes to meeting new people...you know what i mean..i dont want to talk too much and annoyed those people..and most of them have already met one another,thou..and most of them are drinkers...so,at least they have something to talk about....Well,it doesnt really matter to me,thou...As long as i'm having fun myself..(kan..kan..yanie..ahaks)

then about 2300 i've already in my bed in Dietikon,Zurich..Sleeping like a baby..even not the cute one thou :)

My Weekend was totally..i mean TOTALLY rox!!
Eventhou on Saturday morning was raining cats and dogs, our trip was still on scheduled.. but during our ride to Oberwald(French Speaking part of Switzerland) ,all of us were like complaining the whole time about the weather ..We know that there was no chance for us to cycle in this kind of weather...but..after the train passed through the 20minutes ride tunnel...the weather incredibly change 360 deg... or mybe only 200 deg..but whatever...the rain stopped!!!

then we ride another train which have the steepest rail that i've ever ride in...this train brought us up half way to the mountain..the rail was circling the mountain 3 time before we reached our destination... i supposed to see the same church up on the other mountain over and over again(3x).. but i didnt..i was too excited enjoying the scenery..it was a very interesting ride :)

When we reached Oberwald... there was when my really real adventure begins...
ahaks...its a whole new experience for me to participate in this kind of event!! I've told you in my last entry that i've signed up for the easy biking weekend..Well, if you read the name itself,its called EASY biking...so,its supposed to be easy right? Damn, its a lot harder than its sound....

There are 11 of us that stupid enough to fall for the so called EASY biking Weekend... all of us thought that we're going to cycle in the city, enjoying the mountain and all kind of easy and relaxing stuff...but our idea of easy biking was totally messed up...it turned out that we have to cycle aroud 50km from Oberwald to Brig up and down the mountain...after about 2 hours cycling , i was totally exhausted..i cant even pushed my bike up the hills...i was thingking just to quit and take the train somewhere and go back home.....but it seems that everyone was trying their best there...So i cycled my ass off until we'd reached Brigg..It was like 6 hours later ,ok...I just couldnt believe it myself,that i had cycled 6 hours in one day!!!

OMG ..my ass hurts like hell...

Its all about Paris....

...P.A.R.I.S...

Its like a place where most people dream to visit one day... A place where all the dreams came true...a place where all the romance begin...zap!!!! that is all lies which been created by their tourism of Paris..ahaks... I've been there last week. 5 days and 4 nights that i could never forget for the rest of my life(erm..maybe..maybe not) ahaks..whatever... Paris was nice..beautiful at night..clear blue sky when its not raining..a lLOT of place that they claim as tourist attraction..a lot of coloured people selling keychain...a lot of attitude ladies that showing us a piece of paper begging us for money... a lot of halal restaurant(yummy2)....dirty Metro...bla..bla..bla..

We flew there by Air France flight..Alhamulillah our flight was ontime and nothing bad ever happened during its landing...When i came back to Zürich,I was shocked to death when i heard about the Air France Flight dissapeared one day after our Flight back to Zürich...Hopefully there will be more surivor than expeccted..InsyaAllah....

Well,do you wonder why did i put only the Eiffel Tower picture for this entry?For me Eiffel Tower is the only thing that clearly potray Paris than any other place in Paris...Even Fadhli always confused when i said "ok..lepas Louvre kite g Paris pulak.." eventhough we're already in Paris?!! ahaks...What i mean is Eiffel Tower..hiks..cant you see?! Eiffel = Paris?!

Eiffel Tower has its own uniqeness ...they dont have it else where..not like all the other buildings...i cant really differentiate it if i flip back our picture in Paris..if u know what i mean...

I do love Paris..dont get me wrong...Paris is lovely...i do want to go there again if i have a chance someday... We have so much fun there..even our hotel was a bit of dissapointment...ahaks...but who cares..as long as it near the metro,rite... We've been all over Paris for the whole 5 days...not to forget Disneyland!!! Seriously, i cant put into words how incredible it was our trip to Paris... I believe,maybe yanie will describe it in more details..hihi..

But overall..i just thought that Istanbul Trip was much more fun..Paris Trip is just 1mm behind Istanbul Trip...Not so much different,i guess..ahaks...Anyway...Paris still rock!!!

Rheinfall T.R.I.P

whoooaa..this breath taking scenery is a life time experience!! Rheinfall is the biggest waterfall in europe..i never knew about this place until last 2 weeks when iaeste Trainee (the club that i join since i move in zurich) came up with the activity to visit this waterfall... It located in Schloss Laufen am Rhein ,about one hour from Zurich...and not very far away from konstanz :)

There were about 25 People joining this event..SO,yanie and i met some of new people from iran,kazakhstan,uk,mexican and swiss of course ... It was fun knowing new people..but we kinda met someone (from London) that could not stop talking... yanie had take one step ahead while i couldnt get away from her..

she kept talking and talking ...about this and that.. Its cool,thou..dont get me wrong...i love talking to her...but, do you know how long we've been talking?..its like forever.. trust me...suddenly, i felt like im talking with british accent,you know... Its kinda funny..but fortunately yanie was the only one who heard it..ahaks... See..i told u, lamakan.....

Then we have our one hour and a half walked up to Schaffhausen to visit Munot fortress.. Walking up there was totally unacceptable!!! it was soooo hot and no breeze at all....But when we reached the Fortress...it was suprisingly cold inside...mybe because of the material they used to build this building..i dont know... After joining the one hour tour ..we head back home...

It was a very exciting one day trip..hope they will come up with more exciting event for the next ..next ..next weekend..:p

FYI, the title above doeesnt have anything to do with what i'm going to write now ..hiks.. just trying to keep my spirit up ..duh..its early Friday morning :)

Its simply been a while since my last Blog post about my LIFE :) It just that ..i dont have anything interesting going on around me recently..

but

finally the weather was beautiful yesterday..eventhou the weather forecast predicted there would be raining the whole day..they even predicted the rain will continue for the whole week!! Hurm ..sometime Science could not be that accurate,huh? Only ALLAh knows it all!! So,we HUMAN..can only plan and predict whats going to happen..If things doesnt turn out the way that we wanted..let it be..I'm sure that,ALLAH swt had a better plan for us ...

Anyway, thanks to the lovely weather..i decided to went for a swim..(Actually,i'm not very good at it..but ok laa) There is one place called Frauenbad Stadthausquai in the heart of Zurich ,where the entrance strictly for women only.. i went there(alone ,of course)and hoping the water would be warm as well... well,the water is coming from the lake of zurich as this plase is build in the middle of the lake..so practically,the water should be damn COLD...There are 2 "swimming pools"-->1 meter deep and 4 meter deep..obviously i didnt have the courage to swim in that 4m pool..The water is green and i couldnt see whats in side the water..creepy...

i am the only one with top..long sleeves lagi...everyone there were topless,ok...i know lar, there was no men around..but didnt they have any self respect? I was totally embarrased eventhou i am not the one that doing that kind of act..but, i guess thats the reason why they build pool only for women,isnt? forget about them..
Well..after 2 freaking hours..i just had enough..ahaks...feelin dizzy,..too much sun exposure..hiks.. Puteri salju gitu.. But i'm sure that i'll be back here soon...

Tomorrow will be more interesting...yani will be here in Zurich today..and we will joining foreigner trainee expedition to Rheinfall,Schaffhausen!! Its totally going to be a lot of fun!! we'll see...
